These courageous women\u00a0<\/span><\/span>shared their stories<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to break the silence and taboos surrounding honor-based domestic and family violence, as well as forced marriages. Their stories also demonstrate that everyone has the right to live a life free from violence and that help is available for victims who want to rebuild their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because their situation still represents danger, we have changed their first names.<\/span><\/p>\n
